Thiruvananthapuram, July 13, 2024: Don Bosco Veedu bid an emotional farewell
to Mr. Emmanuel Silas (Thampi Sir) in the function held at Don Bosco Nivas. The event, attended by students of Don Bosco Nivas and
Veedu faculty, celebrated Thampi Sir’s achievements and contributions to the
institution.
The program began at 12:00 PM with a warm welcome speech by Fr. Joby Sebastian. Fr. Jiji Kalavanal delivered the presidential address, highlighting the dedication and impact of Thampi Sir on the community. Don Bosco Veedu children performed a heartfelt song. This was followed by
felicitations from Fr. Saji Elambasseril, Fr. Sebastian Kalambadan, and Mr. Manuel
George, each sharing their appreciation and fond memories of Thampi Sir.
In his reply speech, Thampi Sir expressed his gratitude and reflected on his journey
at Don Bosco Veedu, making an emotional connection with the audience. The
ceremony also featured a duet performed by Thambi sir and Anmy. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Christy.
