A Christmas camp named ‘Snow Bells 2023’ was held for the children in the MIRACLE project on December 30, 2023. It was a 3-day camp that included English sessions, sessions on mental health, energizer activities, and preparations for the Christmas celebration on the final day. The English sessions mainly focused on improving English-speaking skills. The children were able to rectify the common grammar errors and pronunciation.

Ms. Maya Amal Idris, a certified mental health professional, provided a common session on inner child healing and its importance. Individual counselling sessions were also held.

The Christmas celebration on the final day was grand and colourful. The benefactor, Mr. Antony Boban, and his family joined the children for the celebration, where the children performed a marvellous thematic performance with dance, drama, and carol songs. Nutrition kits were distributed to the children along with Christmas gifts. The winners of various school-level competitions were also honoured. MIRACLE is a project that supports children who are deprived of primary caregivers with the aim of preventing them from entering the system. MIRACLE provides skill training, English training, counseling, and financial assistance for the education of 40 children in the Trivandrum District.
