DREAM Trivandrum organized an awareness programme for the students of Government City Vocational Higher Secondary School, PMG, on the Effects of Drugs and Brain Science on Students on September 20, 2022. The team also conducted an essay competition for the students as part of the same initiative. The winners were announced and prizes were distributed during the programme. The Principal of City PMG handed over the prizes to the winners. The awareness sessions were handled by the team members of DREAM Trivandrum.
The programme was initiated as part of the second phase of awareness programmes of DREAM. Ms Neha Joseph, DREAM District Coordinator and Ms Anooja R, District Counsellor, interacted with the students, making it a highly informative session.
DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society. The project focuses on reducing the access to and use of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
