Flashmob and Awareness Programme Held at Manacaud Church and MSK Nagar

Children and community members imprint their hands in support of a drug-free future at the MSK Nagar awareness event.

In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a vibrant flashmob and awareness programme was organized at Manacaud Church and later at MSK Nagar, featuring the active participation of the children from the AWAKE project.The programme began with an energetic flashmob performance by the children, drawing the attention of the public and spreading the strong message of saying “Yes to Life & No to Drugs.” Following this, an awareness group performance of the children emphasized the importance of a healthy, drug-free life.Fr. Jiji Kalavanal led the gathering in taking a heartfelt pledge against drug use, encouraging everyone present to become ambassadors of awareness and change within their communities.As a symbolic act of unity and commitment, all participants and audience members placed handprints on a canvas, creating a powerful visual statement against drug abuse.The event successfully combined creativity, awareness, and community participation in the fight against substance abuse.
