Kismat Trivandrum MHD organized an awareness programme at Fort police station on Safe Healthy Legal Migration. It mainly focused on house owners, shop owners, contractors, and supervisors. In the meeting, Mr Shaji, Assistant Commissioner, Mr Rakesh, Sub Inspector, Mr Prasanth, Health Inspector, Janamaithri police staff, Fr. Saji Elambasseril, Director, Don Bosco Veedu Society and Mrs Sandhya, District Coordinator, KISMAT were present. After the inaugural session, Health Inspector took a session on Health and hygiene. It was followed by an interactive session with the participants and the police officers.
Lack of hygiene is a significant concern in the residential area of migrant labourers. Hence, the session was beneficial and necessary.
KISMAT is a project under the Don Bosco Veedu Society that works for the welfare of migrant labourers.
