DREAM Trivandrum conducted an informative session at Government high school Vithura to
raise awareness about drug addiction and its harmful effects. The session covered key topics
such as the realities of addiction, its impact on the mind and body, the science behind
addiction, and common issues faced by adolescents.
The program was highly interactive and encouraged student participation. The sessions were
led by Ms. Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum, and Ms. Anooja R, Counselor
at DREAM Trivandrum.
DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education and Mentoring) is an initiative of BREADS
(Bangalore Rural Education and Development Society) aimed at reducing drug use among
children and young adults. The program offers preventive education, counseling, and de-
addiction services, in collaboration with Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society, to help create
a drug-free society. All services are provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
