On account of World Population Day, which is observed on 11th of July, the resident children of Don Bosco Nivas shelter home were given a session about the same. Starting from the development of health facilities throughout the years, taking into consideration the period of Industrial Revolution for context, topics such as cap on economic development, employment, human rights, women’s rights, government policies as well as their limitations were covered. The children comprehended the information presented to them positively and responded to a few rhetorical questions, implying engagement in the session. The session was prolific, and concluded with a note of gratitude from the children to the presenter.
