Assisted in a medical case of a man from Kismat village

A medical case has been reported from the Kismat village, where a member had fallen from a tree and underwent an operation at the Medical College Kozhikode. The owner of the individual had taken care of the expenses, but dressing the wound regularly was proving to be a financial burden. The DC contacted MY HOME coordinator, Mrs. Shabana, to discuss the medical case. They decided to admit the individual to a care home in Sulthan Bathery and provide the necessary treatment. The DC provided cotton and other materials for dressing the wound.

A medical team from IQRAA hospital visited the Kismat village to check the wound and found that it was worse than expected. They decided to shift the individual to the hospital, and MY HOME took care of the expenses. The migrant was arranged to be shifted to the IQRAA hospital in an ambulance, where doctors admitted him for five days and provided a room. The total expenses were taken care of by MY HOME, and they arranged for the individual to be shifted to the care home after his discharge.

A follow-up visit was conducted, and the doctors suggested an operation for the individual’s left hand as there was a crack in the bone. The owner paid 30,000, and MY HOME took care of the remaining 20,000 for the operation at IQRAA hospital. The DC visited the Kismat village owner to discuss the individual’s condition and the need for special care even after the operation. MY HOME decided to take care of the individual’s palliative care and collected a letter from the owner for admission to the home.

The DC, along with the MY HOME coordinator, admitted the individual to the palliative care home at Pumala and provided the necessary letter to the home manager. The DC also made travel arrangements for the individual from MY HOME to Pulpally. The ISM had been receiving treatment at MY Home for the past month and has shown significant improvement. As a result, they requested to be relocated. Upon meeting with the ISM, DC inquired about their current condition and was pleased to hear that they were able to move and that their wounds had healed. The ISM expressed gratitude towards KISMAT for their assistance. Additionally, DC had the opportunity to interact with the villagers of KISMAT.
