CHG Meeting

Thiruvananthapuram Railway CHILDLINE conducted a CHG Meeting at the Central Railway Station, Trivandrum

Mr. Joy B R (Station Manager (Commercial)), TVC give presidential speech in the Child Help Group meeting which is conducting at the Meeting Hall.

Thiruvananthapuram Railway Child Help Desk conducted a Child Help Group (CHG) meeting at the meeting hall, TVC on 20th December 2022. The meeting started with silent prayer. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Roshma Mary (Counsellor, RCHD). The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. Joy (SMRC, TVC) and he said it is shocking that the number of the child line rescue cases are increasing and that may be the influence of the society. Ms Zeena Sunil (Coordinator, RCHD) presented the previous month’s report including total case interventions, day observance and special programs in PowerPoint presentation.  The Keynote address was delivered by Fr. Saji Elambasseril (Director, RCHD) and he added with a Christmas Message. The felicitation was delivered by Mr. Babloo Thomas (Station Manager, TVC). He added that RCHD’s training program was going positively and he specially mentioned about the new station master who may join recently.  After that, Mrs. Zeena Sunil (Coordinator, RCHD) presented the last CHG meeting minutes report and the agendas. All the agendas were approved by the Officials.  Mrs. Usha Kumari.S (CTI, TVC), Mr. G Suresh Kumar (ASI, RPF) and Mr. N.V Jinesh  (SSE, Electrical Department) , Ms. Vidya Mohan ( CHI/TVC), Ms. Shini Roy R.V ( CPO, GRP), the staff of Tele communication Department, and CHD Staff also participated in the meeting and were actively involved in the open discussion. The vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Aiswarya Lawrence (Team Member, RCHD). We concluded the meeting with a cake cutting ceremony as part of the Christmas celebration with all the CHG representatives. Ms. Roshma Mary T.S (Counsellor, RCHD) hosted the meeting and Mr. Jeffin John (Team Member, RCHD) provided technical support to the meeting.

Railway Childline is an active and effective part of Childline. The outreach programs of the project mainly focused on child protection and providing awareness about Childline and its activities.
