An awareness programme was conducted for the students of St Mary’s School, Pappanamcode, on October 28, 2022. The programme was organised in collaboration with the government project, Yodhavu. The programme was presided over by the School Principal, Sr. Georgina, and Mr. Mahesh, SI of Kaimanam Police Station, shared a felicitation message.
DREAM Trivandrum conducted this program as part of the second phase awareness training series and in collaboration with the anti-drug campaign, Yodhavu, by the Government of Kerala. Ms Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum, and Ms Anooja R, Counsellor of the project, interacted with the students and led the awareness session. The team also introduced the campaign organised by DREAM Kerala, Choose Life Not Drugs, for the students, after taking the anti-drug oath.
DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by the Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society that focuses on reducing the prevalence of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
