Drug awareness programme at Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Kaimanam

DREAM Trivandrum conducted the awareness programme on the abuse of drugs and mobile phones for the students of Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Kaimanam

An awareness programme was conducted for the students of Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Kaimanam, on Addiction-related to Drugs and Mobile Phones on October 28, 2022. Mr. Mahesh, Janamytri Beat Officer, Kaimanam Police Station, introduced the project, Yodhavu, a government initiative to spread awareness against drugs among students. The sessions were handled by the team members of DREAM Trivandrum. 

The programme was organised in collaboration with the Yodhavu, the anti-drug campaign by Kerala Government and Janamytri Police Station, Kaimanam. The session was conducted by Ms Anooja R, District Counsellor, DREAM Trivandrum. At the end of the session, the students took an anti-drug oath.

DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by the Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society focuses on reducing the prevalence of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
