An awareness programme was conducted for the students of Government High School, Peroorkada, on October 19, 2022. The programme was conducted in collaboration with the school management of Marygiri Senior Secondary School, Kudappanakunnu, to create awareness of the effects of drugs and
DREAM Trivandrum conducted this programme as part of the school-level awareness training series. Ms Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum, and Ms Anooja R, Counsellor of the project, interacted with the students and led the awareness session. The team announced the winners of the essay competitions conducted by team DREAM for the students and distributed prizes. The team also introduced the campaign organised by DREAM Kerala, Choose Life Not Drugs, for the students, after taking the anti-drug oath.
DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by the Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society that focuses on reducing the prevalence of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
