An Awareness programme was conducted for the students and parents of Government Girls High School, Venganoor, on October 26, 2022. The programme was organised in collaboration with the government project, Yodhavu. The programme was presided over by the School Headmistress, Ms Uma, and felicitated by the SI, Vizhinjam Police Station.
DREAM Trivandrum conducted this programme as part of the school-level awareness training series and in collaboration with the anti-drug campaign, Yodhavu, initiated by the Government of Kerala. Ms Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum, and Ms Anooja R, Counsellor of the project, interacted with the students and the parents and led the awareness session. The team also introduced the campaign organised by DREAM Kerala, Choose Life Not Drugs, for the students.
DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by the Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society focuses on reducing the prevalence of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
