An Awareness program was conducted for the students of Government Arts College Trivandrum on October 18, 2022. The sessions were led by the team members of DREAM Trivandrum. The CI, Cantonment Police Station, shared the message with the students.
DREAM Trivandrum conducted this program as part of the college-level awareness training series. The program was organised in collaboration with the Janamytri Police Station Cantonment and the Anti-drug Campaign ‘Yodhavu’. Neha Joseph, Coordinator of DREAM Trivandrum, and Ms Anooja R, Counsellor of the project, interacted with the students and led the awareness session. The team also introduced the campaign ‘Choose Life Not Drugs’, organised by DREAM Kerala for the students and introduced the counselling services offered by the team.
DREAM (Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) is a project initiated by the Don Bosco Veedu Society and Banglore Rural Education and Development Society focuses on reducing the prevalence of drugs among school and college students. The project envisions creating an impact through three phases of activities.
